As you may know, Sonic 3D shows a different title in any non-PAL mode. I don't think anything can be done about these, other than using the US ROMs. 3 of them (namely, Comix Zone, Sonic Spinball and Panic on Funkotron) would work by changing the country code, but then the music plays too fast or they have screen placement issues.
3 of them (Ecco 2, Light Crusader and Sonic 3) would work even with their own region-specific sound and screen settings by just editing the header's country code to either JUE or F. There's absolutrely no excuse for these not being run in 60Hz already when desired.
29 of them would work perfectly by just setting the emulator to US (or to Japanese in case of Streets of Rage 3* and Golden Axe 3).
I've left the collection separated so players can choose what games they want to, and don't want to subscribe to, instead of being forced to download the whole library.Out of boredom, I decided to take all 44 games already available on the Wii's Virtual console and see how many of them wouldn't work if SEGA just pulled an easy fix to their MegaDrive emulator's inability to display the games in 60Hz (except for Shining Force, which I can't find the PAL ROM of). There will be more to come, as I will continue to try and upload more games to add to the library. Your contribution to keeping the Genesis library alive, despite SEGA's adamant refusal to add these games to the collection is commendable. Games have been alphabetized, some games that were uploaded in all lower case characters are at the bottom of the list. If that's the case, contact the mod creator to see if they'll upload for a game you DO own. before finding the game that you wanted.īare in mind, this collection may include modswaps for games you may not own. That way, you don't have to see Sally Acorn in Sonic 2 50 million times or the hundreds of Streets of Rage mods. Don't want to go wading through the selection of mods to find your favorite title?
